Blue Stars In Madrid

By October 10, 2016Fashion, Featured

Whenever I visit Madrid I don’t really pick up any new clothes silly because when I get there I know I end up shopping too much so I would much rather wait until I’m over there & see what I can pick up. Last year when I visited we did plenty of shopping it was one of those cases literally where the cases wouldn’t close at the airport so it’s safe to say we (my mum & aunty) can definitely get carried away when shopping.

This year I wanted to shop wisely & not get carried away picking everything I came across in the shops so instead prior to my trip I had a look around my wardrobe for pieces I was missing or that I could team with pieces I already had to make new outfits & it made such a difference.

I’m not a jeans girl, definitely dresses for me but lately I have been picked up some beautiful wide leg trousers that I know will be a classic piece to have in my wardrobe for the next few years. As I loved the fit on them I have been on the lookout more trousers I can add to my wardrobe to break away from dresses every now & then.

I recently picked up these trousers & loved them in store but had no idea what they would look like on until I got them home & they were pretty perfect, especially for what I had in mind. I originally planned to team them with a different velvet top that was a different colour but worked well together. But then Madrid happened & shopping took place where I had seen a number of star shirts & was on the hunt for my own.

When I came across this one I loved it & knew it would work so well with the trousers. Blue is one of my favourite colours to wear & I loved the outfit so much I wore it on my last night for dinner & drinks in one of my favourite cities. AA x
