This Friday I am typing this from my hotel room in China, recovering from a long haul flight where I indulged watching plenty of films I hadn’t been able to go & see. So a working weekend with a difference, where I will get to have some amazing dim sum & hopefully some do some exploring of my own.

Oh how I LOVE a long weekend! This week I had a 3 day week & whilst they were crazy busy with work & blogging I couldn’t wait for 4 days off. I spent a brilliant day at the races with my family having planty of laughs. Now I plan to try out a new bagel shop, have tea with my best friend before she goes to Australia for a few weeks & hoping for sunshine to finally take my new bike out!

Whatever your up to, I hope you have fun!

Happy Friday! I don’t know where this week has gone the 4 day week has threw me so I am trying to get back into a routine. I have picked back up my gym routine this week & whilst it was painful (very!) I feel a bit back to myself with early morning workouts so a weekend of training & maybe a bike ride if the weather is sunny is on my agenda.
A night out to see a magician, whilst trying to plan a holiday & baking some scones that I have been itching to do since our return from Paris.

Book Club 1.0

A couple of weekends ago I was away with my girlfriends who are also readers & the idea came up to start our own book club which we did & honestly it was the best thing we did. Our first book was ‘Strictly Between Us’ by Jane Fallon & we were discussing over brunch last week. It was a great first book to start our Book Club so I thought it was perfect choice to start my own Book Club here on Abigail Alice so you can join me & my girlfriends with all of our new reads.
