Monday isn’t the most popular day but when your off work it isn’t too bad! The other week I had been away to Frankfurt for the weekend with my job so had the Monday off & I loved it, how I wish I could have every Monday off but hey a girl can dream. I spent my day getting ready for the re-launch of Abigail Alice & hanging out with one of my best friends. After enjoying a catch up over some coffee in the WOW bar in Beauty Bazaar we headed over to the other side of Liverpool City Centre to the Walker Art Gallery. I love this side of Liverpool, with the museums, art gallery & theatre the buildings are beautiful & have such character you could think your in London. The Walker always has some great exhibitions on that we thought we would make the most of the afternoon & soak up some culture.
After our walk around the gallery soaking up the exhibitions, Blotter by Peter Doig is a favourite of mine, we stopped for some tea & cake to recharge ourselves & make most of the sunshine by taking some pictures.
I picked up this pinafore the week before & knew I was going to love it! I had been debating about dungarees but really knew they weren’t for me so when I seen this pinafore I thought it was the perfect in between piece. I love the dark colour & it’s perfect for this time of year making it a great transition piece to add to your wardrobe, plus I love the 70’s feel when wearing it especially with my boots! It’s easy to wear too, more of a casual piece really than something I would wear out of an evening. I have already teamed it with some shirts as I have done here or with a turtle neck which works really well especially when its been chillier. My knee high boots are a perfect go to for me in Autumn-Winter, this pair I picked up last year & they go with so many pieces in my wardrobe plus they are super comfy it’s safe to say I certainly have & will be getting my wear out of this piece, it’s a great & simple piece to have in your wardrobe!
