Sunday’s In Knightsbridge

London, how I love this city. I’m quite lucky that I have a lot of family living there so I get to visit plenty of times through out the year & each time is just as good or even slightly better than the last trip. A few weekends ago I headed to the capital city with my mum for what is quickly becoming a Summer tradition of going to the amazing British Summer Time Festival in Hyde Park.

This is our 3rd year going & the line up keeps getting better & better, on the Saturday night we danced our little socks off to Take That who were brilliant, did you see my pictures on Instagram? Come Sunday we wanted a bit of a relaxed morning before we headed back for round 2 with Stevie Wonder. So we headed out to one of my favourite areas the Kings Road for some shopping then made our way to Knightsbridge.

I am a dreamer so on our walk to Knightsbridge who can blame a girl for daydreaming about living in one of the beautiful white Victorian homes, maybe going for a walk & picking up macaroons in Lauder after a visit to the V&A. Well a girl can dream can’t she & I had most of that just not the house of course.

The weather was lovely & warm but slightly in humid in London but compared to the rain in the North I certainly wasn’t complaining plus it gave me the chance to wear possibly one of my favourite dresses that I recently picked up. You know when you pick up something & without even trying it on you just know it’s you, well that’s what happened with this dress.

I’m a girly girl so I love finding a dress & when I picked this up I thought it’s perfect to wear now although it’s black the beautiful embroidered pinks, reds & greens really stand out giving it the right amount of colour. It’s semi fitted but the skirt is floaty & just perfect to do some twirls in!

As it’s such a girly girl dress I didn’t want to wear shoes that were too harsh, for example I don’t think I would team them with black ankle boots. I ended up teaming them with my new shiny silver heels that are also a current new fav after my mum picked them out for me (yes she is super cool & stylish picking my clothes!) I think they worked together pretty well & were comfortable as I walked around Knightsbridge & later danced away to Stevie Wonder. AA x
