Sisterhood of Jackie Kennedy & Lee Radziwill …

I knew very little of Jackie O aka Jackie Kennedy apart from the obvious facts, she was the First Lady to U.S. President John .F. Kennedy, a beautiful lady who was a true style icon. But that was all I knew until I came across this fascinating article on Vanity Fair about the complicated relationship between her & her sister Lee Radziwill.

I don’t have a sister so can only really look to my mum & her sister & they have an incredibly close relationship but imagine like any relationship sisterhood isn’t a smooth path. The article takes you into their childhood, being educated at Miss Porter’s School For Girls, holidaying in Europe having dinner with ambassadors, being at Jackie’s side following the assassination of her husband, it is a life we can only imagine & it’s a brilliant read.

Must See

8 True Crime Documentaries On Netflix…

Were you like me & hooked on Making A Murderer I was fascinated by the behind the scene dealings that surround the incident. Netflix have a number of true crime documentaries & ‘The Thin Blue Line’ seems absolutely crazy but no doubt it will be addictive.

One night in November 1976, after his car breaks down on a road outside Dallas, Randall Dale Adams accepts a ride from teenager David Harris. Harris is driving a stolen vehicle &, later that night, when Dallas police officer Robert Wood pulls the car over to check its headlights, he is shot & killed. A jury believes Adams is the killer, but Errol Morris’ classic documentary explores the role of Harris’ perjured testimony, misleading witness accounts & police misconduct in the verdict.

Manage Your Money Like An Adult…

I came across this article in the week & found it a really interesting read so decided I wanted to share it with you. It’s really easy sometimes to loose track on your spendings I’m sure most people have done it & at some point I know that  I have, it is so easy to spend & not actually realise how much you are spending.

This article really helps you think about getting your finances in order but in a broken down simple way that is so easy to follow that when you actually see you incomings & outgoings it makes you realise what your spending & most importantly on what.  So if your saving for your first home or that dream holiday then here you go try then & see if it helps you.

I Want

Summer is 100% on my mind at the moment, last week we booked a long weekend away in Portugal & are currently booking a holiday to Greece for some island hopping so I have definitely been keeping my eye out for some Summer/ holiday pieces that I can take on holiday with me but also still be able to wear at home.

I love a jumpsuit they are simple & easy to wear but it all depends on the fit. This striped cotton jumpsuit from Mango caught my eye as the neck line is very flattering.

With the deep V & horizontal stripes this is feminine & flattering on the chest, the pulled in waist & vertical stripes down the leg will help elongate the leg. Teamed with a pair of sandals, gold accessories & some sun kissed skin your all set for the Summer with this piece. AA x
