Weekend Breaks In Europe..
Okay so Summer may be starting to come to an end with September only a few days away (how has this happened so quickly!) If your like me then you will have waited until the end of Summer to go on holiday & mine is only a few days away but I’m in the predicament of not knowing where we are off too!
Our plan was Greece but this has now been put off too next May so a new trip is now on the cards & it’s just deciding on where to go in approximately 10 days! Now I’m a planner so I am struggling with where on earth do you decide?
So whilst I have been looking I came across this perfect link of new places that you can explore that you may not automatically think of! I love trying new places or even rediscovering old places so have a look & see if there is someone you want to tick of your list!
One thing I do love about Autumn & the nights getting darker is that the television selection is so much better, it definitely seems that the TV companies hold back on their big dramas until everyone is in for the Winter nights.
The ball has started rolling with ITV’s new drama Victoria which will be on our TV’s this Sunday but don’t worry if you miss it or out out celebrating the long weekend you can watch it later on catch up. Now I love historical drama’s pretty much anything historical really so as soon as I seen the advert for this I knew it was one that I would be watching.
Starting from when the young Victoria is 18 years old, it’s 1837 & she is poised to become the queen following the death of her uncle, the king. With a strong cast I can’t wait to watch this & become engrossed in a new drama.
I wouldn’t say I’m a nosy person more that I have an interest into what goes on behind closed doors & the new Vogue documentary is definitely my cup of tea!
Airing on BBC 2 as part of a 2 part series the 1st on the 8th September the documentary that will give us access inside the hallowed halls of the 100-year-old magazine.
You are introduced to the key members of the Vogue team as well as some of fashion’s most recognised & popular faces, including Edie Campbell, world renowned photographer Mario Testino & of course Kate Moss who has covered more issues of British Vogue than anyone else.
This year is quite a pinnacle year for British Vogue with countless celebrations to commemorate the centenary. There was, of course, an exhibition at the National Portrait Gallery, a big birthday bash in May, attended by the biggest names in the business, a cover with the Duchess of Cambridge & now this documentary as the chic cherry on the glistening birthday cake.
In My Wardrobe…
I am loving Warehouse new A/W collection & it’s not even the full collection yet so fingers crossed the rest of the collection is just sat strong. Last weekend I popped in & picked up a few new pieces that I wasn’t expecting to find but they are all great additions to my wardrobe varying from some culottes, bomber jacket to this dress which I had to share with you!
If you follow my outfit posts then you may have already guessed that floral floaty dresses are pretty much my style, I have quite the collection in my wardrobe & this is the latest addition.
The material is lovely, the print is small & delicate so it’s not too bold when your wearing it & with the soft pallet of colours they complement each other really well. AA x
