On What’s Happening In 2017…

I don’t think there are any words to describe what took place in 2016 or maybe there are but there’s too many, either way everything & anything that you can imagine to happen, did.

But trying to a positive person was a healthy outlook for the year (New Year’s Resolution) I’m sure 2017 will be a vast improvement & this is shaping up to be true with so many things to look forward to. Already have you noticed how there are so many great films out in the cinema, Netflix have released more series & films for us to indulge in this January, plus the return of Stranger Things & The Crown both with a second series, I’m so glad I loved both these shows!

For the art fan’s there are some must see exhiibtions hitting galleries across the UK one inparticular I am looking forward to seeing is at my favourite museum the Victoria & Albert.

There is so much for us to look forward to in 2017 I think it’s already shaping up to be a pretty good year!

Must See

Golden Globes 2017…

LA, Sunday evening sees the A-List of Hollywood make their 2017 red carpet debut at the Golden Globes, it is the start of award season & who will be winning names who win big on the night. Every year being the big film fan that I am I always try & see all of the films nominated for Best Film just so I can make my own opinion plus I love seeing a mix of films.

One film that my girlfriends & I have already pencilled in the diary is a film that I mentioned on the blog a few months ago, La La Land. The latest release from the onscreen magical duo Emma Stone & Ryan Gosling which is set to be a hit, it’s a song & dance about old school Hollywood that is being tipped for all the big wins. Apart from the winners, everyone’s eyes will be set on the red carpet to see who wows in their couture dresses.

Apart from the winners, everyone’s eyes will be set on the red carpet to see who wows in their couture dresses. All poised & ready to go with stunning dresses that no doubt we will all be lusting over come Monday morning.

Just In

New Music…

Ed Sheeran has released his first new studio recordings since his album X in 2014. Rather than release a surprise album or a surprise single, he’s taken a middle ground & released two new singles, Shape of You Castle on the Hill.

I’ve always been a fan of his, it seems no matter what he releases whether it’s something upbeat or mellow it’s a hit. So after time away from the music scene he has been teasing new material on social media since last Sunday giving fans a taste of the bouncy new groove as well as a hint that his next album is called Divide. As promised, he didn’t disappoint & finally delivered new music early Friday morning with two new tracks.

Ed commented on the release of his 2 singles on Friday morning, “Hello 2017! I’ve been working hard on the new material & I hope you can be as excited about it as I am. I really wanted to show two different sides to my music that I’m equally as passionate about & I just knew I wanted to roll with two songs at the same time. I’m absolutely buzzing to be back.”

I Want

In My Wardrobe…

My ultimate girl crush, British supermodel & former Victoria’s Secret girl, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley has launched a chic new collection of activewear for Marks & Spencer, featuring technical & high-intensity workout pieces that will make you look and feel great.

I love buying workout clothes, I go the gym 4/5 times a week & at the weekend it’s ideal to get my gym class in then afterwrds still feel comfortable & chic in my outfit to meet up with my girlfriends for Brunch & there are some pieces in her new collection that have definitely caught my eye.

“Cardio is a huge part of my work out regime so it felt like a really natural route to take – it was so exciting to work on a collection that will add confidence and help the wearer work harder, allowing her to really make the most of her fitness routine.” The modern & minimal collection, which consists of high-performance sports bras, elegant panelled leggings, lightweight jerseys, hoodies & zip-up jackets, comes in a feminine yet practical palette of deep aubergines, vintage blush & black.
