Meet British Vogue’s New Editor-In-Chief…

Okay so if your, not a fashion bunny then no problem you just may not have heard that back in January British Vogue Editor-In-Chief, Alexandra Shulman was leaving after 25 years with the magazine, so along with her announcement the question quickly turned to who will replace her & the answer was announced on Monday, Edward Enniful will be the magazine’s new Editor-In-Chief, leaving his current position as the creative and fashion director of the American magazine W.

Now through the power of social media, it was quick to see that the majority of people were ecstatic with the news. He will be the first man & the first black editor to take the helm of Britain’s most powerful fashion publication in its 100-year history, Mr Enninful will begin his new role on 1st August.

One of my best friends was delighted with the news explaining to me (who wasn’t as up to scratch on his previous work) of how unbelievable his work is, so creative & a true visionary. Known for his cheerful demeanor, his legendary fashion covers & for having an army of loyal fans in & out of the fashion business. He received an Order of the British Empire in June for his services to diversity in the fashion industry.

Italy

Must See

Italian Roadtrip, Where To Visit…

Packing up my bags & hopping on a flight to Milan for the beginning of an Italian road trip is definitely in my Top 10 of travel bucket lists. Having only visited Rome I am super keen to get to visit more of the beautiful country, from the Amalfi Coast to the roaming hills of Tuscany to those unplanned detours that hopefully have you discovering somewhere new.
But as with many trips on this scale, planning to visit multiple places it all comes down to careful planning. What it is you want to see, what is is you want to experience. If your list is as long as mine when it comes to visiting Italy then maybe a road trip is for you. If you want to get to know the whole of Italy — primarily a nation of enchanting small towns and gorgeous natural scenery, it is a different kind of vacation from renting an Italian villa or apartment and exploring just one place.
So if you are tempted then here are some recommendations of where you should visit, some are already on my list & some I haven’t come across before but look too good to miss off.

Just In

Friends, The Broadway Musical…

The morning I woke up & seen on Twitter the news that 90’s hit US TV show Friends was having it’s very own musical! Yes okay, so it wasn’t the news probably millions of us have been waiting for hoping for a reunion, but still, this is something at least & who would have thought a show that ended over 15 years ago is making it’s way to the big stage.

Planned to make its stage debut this autumn at the Triad Theatre in New York (yes, a flight will be necessary if you wish to see it), Friends! The Musical is an unofficial production from the creators of other screen-to-stage revivals including 90210! The Musical!, & Full House! The Musical!

The musical will feature the antics from Ross, Rachel, Monica, Chandler, Joey & Phoebe. And the musical’s creators, Bob & Tobly McSmith, promises to transport viewers back to the 90s with songs like “The Only Coffee Shop in New York City,” “45 Grove Street – How Can We Afford This Place?”, “Oh. My. God. It’s Janice!” & “We were on a Break!”

But the best has been left to the end when no doubt hardcore fans will get emotional at the show’s closing number: “We’ll Always Be There For You.”

& Other Stories

I Want

In My Wardrobe…

I’m just going to say it, I LOVE THESE SHOES! Yes I do & I would really like them in my wardrobe now please, thank you very much.

But unfortunately, if that were only true, instead I may have to do a bit of online shopping or make it the perfect excuse to visit & Other Stories to pick up a pair of these gold dream shoes that I keep picturing with so many outfits. This particular type of heel is my favourite simply because they give you the height your looking for but also are so damn comfortable to walk around in all day. A classic brogue style shoes with a chunky heel, yes please.

I’ve always been more a gold person than silver so the colour is perfect for me & I always think in Summer when everything is that bit warmer anyway it’s easy to team with outfits. Anything from culottes with a shirt, jeans & a t-shirt there is so many options you can pair them with.
